CRAFT - KOLHAPURI CHAPPALS
ABOUT THE CRAFT: Kolhapuri chappals are Indian hand-crafted leather slippers that are locally tanned using vegetable dyes. Kolhapuri Chappals or Kolhapuri s as they are commonly referred to are a style of open-toed, T-strap sandal. It can take up to six weeks to make a pair of Kolhapuris.

Target group - Young adults in the age group of 16-24 years old

Products Range - Block heels , Mousepad , Earrings and Wallet,
                               Kolhapuri chappals.

Materials - Water buffalo leather, suede leather, rubber, wood , goat leather and gotas
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Product I -  Block Heels (western Adaptation of Kolhapuri Chappals)
 Traditionally inspired yet modern in look , these heels can be sported on any Western, Indo-western as well as tradition apparels. Made to suit the tastes of our young generation it promotes our crafts as well.
Product II - Shoulder Duster Earrings
Made using the leftover stripes of leather in the chappal making process , it promotes sustainable practices among the craftsmen.
Product III - Mousepad
Made using the chakras, veni, 
gotas and punching add a traditional touch of the craft to the mousepad.

Prduct IV - Wallet
Gotas, another refreshing and catchy element of the kolhapuri chappal is showcased prominently in this wallet. The veni and Chakra is used to accessorize the hands of the user while making it easier to hold.
